I have been called Songweaver...You may call me Rawiri.
Last time I checked I was a Buck.
Gasp in awe, for I am a Lapaki.
I get along in this world as a musician. Or perhaps the better word for him is mage. Rawiri weaves magic with song to not only create beautiful and elegant music, but a bit of a 'light show' for his audiences. When he plays mini animals sprites often appear dancing as twirling, fast moving figures of light and energy. With his magic he can calm a riot (not that he's ever had to), entice the oldest and stiffest of elders to dance, warm the coldest heart...and seduce the even most chaste of does.
I am what I am. Rawiri is a wanderer. He finds it hard to stick to one place. There's just too many things he hasn't seen, too many songs he hasn't played...too many does he hasn't proclaimed as his love.Yes, he's a player of sorts and he doesn't just play the strings. Many a doe has found herself wrapped up in the heat of love, only to be left out in the cold of loneliness a day later. He doesn't do it to be mean, he's just a victim of falling in love too easily. Rawiri wants to settle down one day...he just hasn't found the right doe. And he's convinced that finding the right doe means trying out everything that's available.
Perhaps the only thing he'll ever be able to truly love is music. He plays the viola (and occasionally the violin) more passionately than he speaks to a doe whom he thinks could be the one. He's never joined a group though because he feels like joining one wouldn't give him the freedom he has as a traveling soloist.
Rawiri isn't unfriendly to bucks. He just isn't friendly to them. They are obstacles in his quest for love, yet he understands that they are on their own quest and see him in much the same way. So, as long as they don't seek the same doe, he's happy to let them pass on their way without things getting violent.
Though he often exxagerates vainity when in the prescence of does to get a laugh, in truth he is vain about only one thing: his frock coat. It is his coat. his frock coat. He paid quite an amount for it (and while some of it was admittedly a prejudiced overcharge, it was still expensive), and considers it to be worth more than his life.
Behold my gloriful self: Quad;; Rawiri's quad form is that of a mountain hare whose coat is preparing for spring. It is like this year round because...well, he likes it and wove himself a special magic that keeps it that way. His coat is a greyish white with a silky tan colour covering his fore arms, hanches, and most of his back. patches of darker brown fur weave in and out of the tan, crowning his ears and producing aspeckled pattern on his forehead and muzzle.
Anthro;; His anthro form is a direct copy of his quad. With the exception of clothes of course. His typical garb is a tan, clasped tunic that clinches slightly at his waist with darker, brown breaches, a combination that mimics his fur. Rawiri keeps his 'feet' wrapped in dark cloth from where his paw begins to above his raised heel. He is almost always seen wearing a dark brown frock coat, clasps, floof, the whole shibang. When it rains he wears a cloak to protect the fabric. And what would a frock coat be without a fancy hat? Rawiri wears one in the reworked-for-gentlmen-pirate-style. It is the same shade as his coat with tan embroderies. A large feather adorns it with smaller feathers surrounding it, created a poofy...admittedly ostentatious...effect.
I worship no specific god. But if Reynard would be so kind as to lend a paw in the seduction of woman, I might be tempted into leaving an offering. Rawiri sort of worships Apollomiestro as well. He doesn't completely because he feels like if the god hadn't given him his talent, he might be seen in a better light by his parents.
It would be a pain to list them all. Playing strings intruments, dancing, thievery (can't always get enough money in the music buisness, ya know), seduction
Alas, for I may be beaten by Woman, Fine Wines and Cuisine, that damn heat of summer
I shall slay you with my music. His magic can usually be used to get out of a conflict. He'd like to elarn the staff, but he doesn't stay in any place long enough for a real teaching.
I need no other forms than my handsome own.
Mother dearest would chide me if I went back Rawiri's family is critical of him for choosing a path in...music, rather than a normal buck profession like 'warrior', so he doesn't visit much.
I am a victim of the pangs of loneliness for I have no one to call my own.
History: (...I'm just gonna be lazy and ignore this for the moment. :3)
